Job responsibilities:
1. responsible for R&D, design, testing and validation etc. of Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) devices (structures) in different applications (automotive, home appliances, refrigeration, 3C, smart wearable etc.);
2. responsible for SMA and structural components material selection, cost evaluation, sampling, mold opening, acceptance, etc.;
3. Responsible for managing projects related to requirements collection and analysis, program evaluation, schedule and cost management;
4. support the establishment of technical platform for SMA application standards, simulation analysis, test programs, patents, etc. in the above areas;
5. Participate in the development of relevant SMA test standards, and master the working principle and requirements of each test program;
6. Responsible for the preparation of product development process documents, such as design program, DFMEA, drawings, BOM and other work;
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation and other related majors;
2. more than two years of product development experience, able to independently carry out structural design, program development, and deal with technical problems;
3. Skilled in the use of three-dimensional design software;
4. familiar with material molding and machining process;
5. proficient in the use of geometric dimensioning and work tolerance (GDT&T);
6. experience in product design for SMA applications is preferred;
7. strong team communication skills, sense of responsibility, good learning ability and hands-on ability, more open-minded.
Material R&D Engineer
Shanghai, China
Job responsibilities:
1. Skillfully search literature in English and Chinese to keep abreast of cutting-edge research progress, results and test methods of shape memory alloy springs (SMA springs);
2. Design materials for SMA springs according to application requirements, such as composition and phase transition temperature;
3. design the dimensional parameters of SMA springs, such as wire diameter, outside diameter, pitch, and number of coils, according to the application requirements;
4. to establish the SMA spring material standard, processing technology and heat treatment process, etc.;
5. complete the SMA spring performance testing and R & D update iteration, delivery of qualified SMA spring, to complete the transfer of R & D to production;
6. Complete the layout and submission of related patents.
Requirements:
1. major in metal materials, mechanical engineering, bachelor degree or above, with more than 1 year of work experience;
2. Familiar with the design and processing of springs is preferred;
3. proficient in reading and understanding English literature, with strong summarizing ability;
4. good communication skills, strong team player, planning, goal-oriented in work, project management experience is preferred;
5. Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and other software.
